Ranee attended Victoria University, graduating with a joint Bachelor and masters of Osteopathy.
Ranee is originally from the country, a beach side town called Portland, in Victoria. This has engrained an affinity for the beach or a body of water of any kind, naturally!
Outside of work, you can find Ranee out for a run, boxing, at the beach, reading, and exploring bakeries for a good almond croissant! You absolutely cannot go past Agathe in South Melbourne, number one in her opinion. Along with this, Ranee spends an unhealthy amount of time at the gym, although this is mostly because she enjoys vibing to her music during sets! Yes, she’s one of those. Ranee moved to Melbourne in 2009 to study Nursing, and with this has developed an extensive history of working within the healthcare industry, 16 years to be exact.
Ranee’s introduction to osteopathy came about through experiencing a few injuries of her own.
Whilst working as an Osteopath, Ranee has been able to see the progress within her patients from their initial consultation, to their final, and it is through this experience that she knew for sure that this profession was for her. Following a patient through their journey and witnessing them return to their daily activities and hobbies, happier, and feeling whole again fulfills in Ranee an innate passion for improving the lives of others.
As your osteopath, Ranee will work with you to create a treatment plan tailored specifically to you and your goals. During a session with Ranee there will be an element of manual therapy where an array of hands-on techniques such as soft tissue therapy, myofascial release, high-velocity, low-amplitude (HVLA), and joint articulations, dry needling and cupping will be utilised. Additionally, therapeutic exercise, education, and lifestyle considerations will also be incorporated into your treatment, fostering a well-rounded positive experience. Oh, and music, there will also be music!
